REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy explains when and how BlazeGen issues refunds for purchases made through our website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It supplements, and forms part of, our Terms of Service.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). BlazeGen is the merchant of record for all purchases made through the Services and is responsible for customer service, billing inquiries, and refunds in accordance with this policy.
1. GENERAL POLICY
Because every generation runs on GPU compute that is billed to us in real time, the Services are consumed immediately on use. Except as required by applicable law, all purchases are non-refundable once consumption has begun.
To the extent permitted by law, by completing a purchase you request immediate performance and acknowledge that any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period may not apply once performance begins.
2. SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscription plans are billed in advance for the selected billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
- Within 14 days of purchase or renewal: if you have not yet completed any video generations on the relevant billing period, you may request a full refund of that subscription charge by contacting support.
- After 14 days, or after any video generations have run: subscription charges are non-refundable.
- Yearly plans are not prorated on cancellation. You retain access to your plan and any remaining plan credits through the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation at any time stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, refund a charge already paid.
3. CREDIT PACKS (TOP-UPS)
Credit packs are one-time purchases that add credits to your account.
- Unused credit packs: if you purchased a credit pack and have not yet consumed any of its credits, you may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase.
- Partially or fully consumed credit packs: once any credits from a pack have been consumed, the purchase is non-refundable.
Credit packs do not expire and remain on your account until consumed.
4. FAILED GENERATIONS
If a generation fails because of a verified platform error on our side, we will automatically restore the credits consumed by that failed generation, or provide a comparable remedy. You do not need to contact support for these automatic restorations.
5. ALWAYS-REFUNDABLE CASES
Regardless of the rules above, we will refund:
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing error;
- Unauthorized charges confirmed not to have been made by the account holder;
- Charges where a refund is required by applicable law, including non-waivable consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction.
6. TAXES
Where required, applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar transaction taxes are calculated and added at checkout by Stripe Tax based on your billing address. When we issue a refund, any tax we collected on the refunded amount is refunded together with the underlying charge. We do not refund taxes that were not collected by us at checkout (for example, taxes you self-assessed under a reverse-charge mechanism).
7. CHARGEBACKS AND REVERSALS
If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal through your bank or card issuer, we may, where permitted by law:
- reverse the credits associated with the disputed transaction;
- suspend or terminate your account until the dispute is resolved; and
- recover related fees and costs.
We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly before any chargeback is filed.
8. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, email [email protected] with:
- the email address on your BlazeGen account;
- your Stripe receipt number or transaction reference (from your purchase email or the in-app billing history);
- the reason for the refund request.
We aim to respond within a few business days. If approved, eligible refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within five to ten (5–10) business days, subject to your card issuer's processing times.
9. MANAGING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION
You can view your purchase history, update your payment method, download invoices, and cancel a subscription at any time through the Stripe-hosted customer billing portal accessible from your account settings in the BlazeGen application. Refund requests, however, are handled fastest by emailing the address in Section 8.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes apply to purchases made on or after the updated effective date. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
